Getting started the basics - in QuickBooks

Probably the best way to start Quickbooks is to set up the details of your customers and your suppliers, then enter your first Invoice ( Sales Invoice) then a Bill ( Purchase Invoice) then enter the payments received for a customer and a payment to a supplier. All these actions are explained in detail at the appropriate section. 

Then link the bank account described later so you can bring in bank transactions semi-automatically to Quickbooks
